Mom’s Day Out and Preschool

Mom’s Day Out is a supportive ministry to families in our community which offers quality care for preschoolers from six weeks old through four years old during the school year and adds children up to third grade during the summer months. This provides mothers with some personal time while providing quality care for their preschooler. We provide opportunities for preschoolers to enjoy happy learning experiences at church.  They also learn to increase their social skills with other preschoolers their own age.

All classes use the WEE Learn (Weekday Early Education) curriculum. Threes and Fours also use “Handwriting Without Tears” curriculum for beginning writing skills.

MDO offers an option of 2, 3 or 4 days of care Monday through Thursday. Children will be placed in a class or on a waiting list depending on family needs and openings in the class. The Fours classes are taught by certified teachers who prepare the children with the skills needed to enter Kindergarten the next year. The hours are 9:00 a.m. – 2;00 p.m. There is a fee per day plus a registration fee. Our program is very well received in the community and has a great reputation. Preschool Choir

Time:  Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

Preschoolers ages 4 and 5 can begin to understand how music can be used to worship God. We teach beginning rhythm, beat, note value, tempo, and introduce them to several different instruments they are able to play.

Mission Friends

Time:  Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

Preschoolers ages 2 and 3 are taught mission attitudes and concepts concerning our home and foreign mission work. They learn about missionaries and the countries they live in and the work they do.

Parents Night Out

In this program, a "Kids Night Out" for ages birth through 4th grade is planned once a month so that parents may enjoy a special "date" night, go shopping without the kids, or just get some much needed "peace and quiet" time at home.  Children visit with friends and participate in crafts and other activities that go along with the special theme of the month.

Parents Night Out is held the second Friday of each month from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. by reservation only.  A $5 fee per child is charged.  Sign up now to be part of the fun!
