Sunday Morning Programs

Bible Study at 9:30 am

Children learn in a fun and exciting way about God and His plan for them. They will grow as they enjoy being with friends in the same grade level and are taught by dedicated teachers who care about them. We use LifeWay Curriculum. It is Bible based and planned for the growth and development of children. Activity teaching is centered around units of study such as God, Jesus, family, church, community, creation, etc. Children receive lesson prep worksheets to complete before each class and parents are encouraged to further teach the biblical truths taught at church in situations during the week.

Kids Church at 10:45 am

We offer a high energy, age appropriate, optional worship experience for kids grades 1-4 during the corporate worship time for adults and youth. Our curriculum includes fascinating drama, kid-friendly music with motions, Bible lessons, and biblical truths for each week. Adults and responsible youth leaders engage the kids in worship enticing to their needs and interests. Bible Study teachers walk the children over to the gathering area at 10:30 to check-in with Kids Church teachers. We believe children:

• Should be included in worship experiences;
• Are an important part of the body of Christ;
• Should be taught to worship;
• Belong to the body of Christ and are welcome in His church;
• Should have memorable experiences at church;
• Love to worship through music;
• Love to praise God;
• Love to hear stories from the Bible;
• Learn God can speak to them through worship; and
• Are valued by God and by God’s people.

Praise Team at 5:30 pm

From September to May we offer a chance for children to practice and learn to lead their peers in worship. Kids are encouraged to help choose songs and motions that will be used for both Sunday and Wednesday children’s worship times. There are no tryouts for Praise Team, but coming to practice is a requirement to lead worship for Kids Church.

Bible Skills, Drills, and Thrills at 6:00 pm

From September to May we offer a class where children can learn all the books of the Bible and how to find those books, as well as verses, key passages and the Plan of Salvation all while having fun! Older elementary children will even have the opportunity to compete in Bible Drills at the district and state levels.
